The College of Science and Health Professions at Northeastern State
University is seeking a full-time faculty member in Computer Science. The
ideal candidate will have an entrepreneurial approach and experience
building a computer science program. The position will be based on either
the Tahlequah or Broken Arrow campus, but teaching responsibilities will
extend to both campuses. 

Candidates with experience in Cyber Security, Supercomputing, or similar
technology interests are preferred. 

Tenure and rank will be dependent upon qualifications. Anticipated starting
date is January 2017, but we will consider candidates who can start August
2017.

 

Outstanding teaching experience in face to face, online, and blended formats
required. Teaching is currently at undergraduate level and may include
graduate level teaching in the future. Demonstrated leadership, formal and
informal, is required for associate and full professor rank at hiring.

 

Doctorate in Computer Science or closely related field is required.
Candidates with only Master's degrees need not apply.
