Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania invites applications for a full time, tenure track faculty member to teach in Information Systems (IS) in the School of Business beginning August, 2017. The School of Business at Slippery Rock University offers a BS in Information Systems and an MBA which relies on several IS courses. Duties include excellent classroom instruction, research and scholarly growth, academic advising, committee work at department, college, and university levels, and other duties as assigned.

Position may require online course development, short term international travel. Successful candidate will be required to engage in appropriate research that results in a minimum of 2 peer-reviewed journal publications within 5 years.
Minimum Qualifications:
Earned doctorate in Information Systems or closely related field. The committee may consider ABD applicants if the degree will be completed within one year of appointment. Successful performance in an on-campus interview, including teaching demonstration. Perceived ability to work productively with students and colleagues.

Preferred Qualifications:
Areas of interest to the department are: health care, project management, web development, cyber security, data/business analytics and cross-disciplinary collaboration, but all areas of IS will be entertained. Preference will be given to candidates having a demonstrable research agenda in core IS areas that can include undergraduates.
