[AISWorld] Update from the Journal of Systems and Information Technology

Dear All,

I am pleased to introduce the two new Editors-in-Chief for Journal of Systems and Information Technology, following the excellent work undertaken by Craig Standing.


-          Professor Brian Corbitt, College of Business, RMIT University, Australia

-          Dr Raymond Chiong, School of Design Communication and IT, The University of Newcastle Australia

Brian Corbitt has extensively published across both e-Business and IT policy, working with industries and governments in Australia, New Zealand and the countries of South East Asia to develop a better understanding of how systems and technology can improve efficiency and/or productivity and generate better outcomes. Raymond Chiong is actively involved in data analytics research and has used technology to address various science and engineering problems.
The Editors note:
"Systems and technology now encompass more than just business. Architects and construction managers, health professionals, engineers, designers, information professionals (librarians and archivists), and many others also use systems thinking, analytics, processing technologies and IT to solve both large and small scale, local, national and global problems and offer the basis for better understanding the extensive and innovative use of new and evolving technologies creating new ideas, building alternative solutions and improving social and cultural awareness. We see that the Journal of Systems and Technology can be a forum to publish high quality research that addresses these innovative practices, demonstrates improved productivity and efficiency and highlights how analysis and informatics are being used to solve modern business, government, cultural, social and business problems."
