The Department of Information Technology & Decision Sciences at the University of North Texas invites applications for a tenure track position in Information Systems at the level of Assistant/Associate/Full Professor for the Fall 2017 semester to teach, conduct research, and provide service in an academic tenure track position with emphasis on mainframe, database, and cyber-security. Preference will be given to candidates who have been in university faculty positions at least two years.

The candidate must have a doctorate or be ABD in Information Systems or related discipline.

Candidates should have teaching experience in more advanced technical information systems major courses, particularly in areas of mainframe, database or cyber-security. Preference will be given to people with teaching experience in one or more programming languages, database, security, or mainframe (e.g., COBOL, DB2). Candidates are expected to teach an annual course load of at least 2-2. Actual course loads are assigned based on departmental needs. Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience.
