[AISWorld] Conference chairs of PLS'17

Dear Researchers,
 
PLS’17 will take place on June 17th-19th, 2017 in Macau (China), organized by Macau University of Science and Technology. The final date for abstract submission will be December 17th 2016. Here is a brief introduction for the conference chairs.
 
Pang Chuan, the Vice President of Macau University of Science and Technology. His focuses on information systems and e-commerce research. His research is published in Computers in Human Behavior, Knowledge-Based Systems, Computer Standards & Interfaces.  He is the member of several Macau government committees, including the Consulting Council of Public Administration Reform, the Economy Development Committee, and the Judge Committee of Young Entrepreneurs Aid Scheme. He also holds positions in many local organizations, including President of Macau International Information Systems Association, President of Macau Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics, President of Macau Management Engineering Association, President of Macau Youth Research Association, Director General of Nanjing Fellow Association of Macau, etc.
 
Wynne Chin, the C.T. Bauer Professor of Decision and Information Sciences, University of Houston. Dr. Chin's substantive interests include modeling the individual IT adoption process, end-user satisfaction, and developing group process measures such as cohesion, satisfaction, and consensus to understand the impact of electronic meeting systems, and employee stress and turnover. More recently, he has begun work on cross-cultural analysis and building indices for high performing workplace assessment. Dr. Chin is well published in both IS journals such as Information Systems Research , Journal of MIS, and MIS Quarterly as well as statistical journals such as Multivariate Behavioral Research and Structural Equation Modeling. Wynne's research has received more than  31,000 citations, earning a Google Scholar H index of 46 and he is ranked third worldwide in first authored articles published in his discipline's top two journals - MISQ and ISR from 1990 through 2013.  
 
Vincenzo Esposito Vinzi, Dean of the Faculty, ESSEC Business School. His research interests (more than 70 published papers and books) have mainly focused on methodological developments in the field of multivariate statistical analysis with specific reference to factorial methods, Procrustes rotations, analysis of paired tables, structural equation modelling, PLS (Partial Least Squares) regression and causal modelling, multiple table analysis. He has taken a special care of the application relevance of his methodological contributions with specific reference to the domains of business and industry, sensory data, social surveys, customer satisfaction surveys with respect to both commodities and public services, Total Quality Measurement. Two of his papers were recognized as the Top-Cited 2005-2010 Article in the Journal Computational Statistics and Data Analysis by Elsevier.
 
Jose L. Roldan is a Professor of Management in the Department of Business Administration and Marketing at the Universidad de Sevilla (Spain). He has been Visiting Professor at different European and Latin American Universities. His current research interests include technology acceptance models, business intelligence, knowledge management, organizational culture, social network sites and partial least squares (PLS). His recent contributions have been published in European Journal of Operational Research, International Journal of Project Management, British Journal of Management, Journal of Business Research, International Business Review, European Journal of Information Systems, International Small Business Journal, Computers in Human Behavior, and Industrial Marketing Management, among others. In addition, he has published several book chapters for Idea Group Publishing, Information Science Reference, and Springer. He is currently on the editorial board of The Data Base for Advances in Information Systems. He has also served as Guest Editor of the European Journal of Information Systems (EJIS), Journal of Business Research and European Management Journal.
 
Dr Gabriel Cepeda Carrión is an Associate Professor in the Management and Marketing Department at the University of Seville. His main research topics include knowledge management, absorptive capacity, dynamic capabilities and organizational learning and unlearning. He also is an expert in qualitative (case study research) and quantitative (SEM and PLS) methods in management research. His research is published in several top ranked journals including the Journal of Knowledge Management, Journal of Business Research, British Journal of Management, and International Journal for Quality in Health Care. He has developed professional projects about knowledge management in industries including banking, health care and professional sport.
