This is a tenure-track position.  The position will begin August 2017.  Salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience; competitive benefits package.  Applicants must hold a PhD in Information Systems or closely related field.

Required Qualifications: Ph.D. in Information Systems (or a closely related field) from an AACSB accredited (or equivalent) university. All applicants must have the potential for both high quality teaching and high quality academic research, and be willing to support the information systems department and its initiatives.  Candidates at the associate level must provide evidence of teaching excellence and a strong record of outstanding publications in top tier information systems journals. The individual will also be expected to engage in scholarly research, and collaborate with doctoral students and other faculty in the department.

Preferred Qualifications: Preference will be given to candidates with demonstrated ability to teach courses and to conduct research in one or more of the following areas: Cyber-security and Information assurance, Enterprise Security and Cyber Analytics, Cloud Computing Security, Privacy and Data protection, and programming languages for Web and Mobile application development.

Job Responsibilities: The position consists of 40% teaching, 40% research and 20% service.  Teaching: the normal teaching load consists of 4 courses (3 hours each) during a 9-month contract period. The individual will be expected to teach Information Systems courses at the Undergraduate, Masters, and Ph.D. levels and should have prior teaching experience in technical courses. Candidates at the associate level must provide evidence of teaching excellence and a strong record of outstanding publications in top tier information systems journals. The individual will also be expected to engage in scholarly research, and collaborate with doctoral students and other faculty in the department.  Research: We seek scholars who can produce research of excellent quality that can be published in top journals in the information systems area.
