 The Information and Technology Management Department within the Sykes
College of Business invites applications for a tenure track position at the
rank of Assistant Professor starting August 2017.  This is a full-time
position.

The University of Tampa is a medium-sized, comprehensive,
residentially-based private institution of 8,300 undergraduate and graduate
students. The University is ideally situated on a beautiful 110-acre campus
next to the Hillsborough River, adjacent to Tampa's dynamic central
business district, which is a growing, vibrant, diverse metropolitan area.

Candidates should have a commitment to teaching excellence, student
involvement, and community service. We emphasize relevant, applied and
active scholarship. A typical teaching load is three (3) four credit hour
courses in a 14-week semester. The selected candidate may teach a sequence
of courses involving a full-range of cybersecurity curricula including
information security principles, network security, risk management/legal
compliance, incident response management and ethical hacking at both the
graduate and undergraduate levels.

Qualifications: Responsibilities may include teaching courses at both the
undergraduate and graduate levels in information security and cybersecurity
with teaching, professional and/or research experience in information
security or cybersecurity required. The ideal candidate will have earned a
professional certification such as the CISSP, CISA, CISM, CEH or
other-similar certifications.

A Ph.D. in Management Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Information
Security or related field is required.
