The GENERAL EGOV TRACK at the IFIP EGOV-EPART 2017 Conference

The General EGOV Track serves as an umbrella for all e-Government-related topics except the special-topics tracks of Open Government and Big Data, Policy Informatics and Policy Modeling, and Smart Governance, Smart Government, and Smart Cities. In particular, it also covers emerging and special topics in e-Government research.

Areas of focus and interest include but are not limited to the following topics:

Foundations of e-Government and e-governance research including theories, standards of inquiry, methods and frameworks as well as multi- and interdisciplinary approaches to e-Government research
Innovation management, transformation and change management
Strategies and policies for ICT-enabled public administration overhaul
E-Government architectures (vertical, horizontal, and networked)
Public administration back and front offices overhaul (cases, practices, lessons learned)
Design approaches for ICT solutions in the public sector, including stakeholder engagement, citizen co-creation, and crowd sourcing
Information governance (strategies, information sharing practices, privacy practices)

IMPORTANT DATES:

— Submission of papers (completed and ongoing research): February 15, 2017
— Submission system closes (February 15th is a hard deadline with no exceptions) *

— Submission of workshop/panel/poster/PhD colloquium contributions: March 15, 2017

— Notification of acceptance/rejection decisions for papers, workshops/panels/posters/PhD colloquium contributionS: April 1, 2017

— Camera-ready papers of all types of papers: May 20, 2017
   (No extensions can be granted to ensure availability of proceedings at the conference)

* Due to the visa application process, the decisions need to be made early, so that accepted-paper authors can get their visas in due time.
