Objective: 
Besides ICIS and ECIS, the International Conference on 
Wirtschaftsinformatik is one of the most important conferences in the 
field of information systems and the most important meeting point in the 
German-speaking world of information systems. Eight hundred to thousand 
participants regularly attend the conference. The 13th International 
Conference on Wirtschaftsinformatik (WI 2017) provides an exchange forum 
for innovative and relevant topics of information systems ? concerning 
both research and practice. It is therefore a privilege for us to invite 
you to the WI 2017 in St.Gallen, Switzerland. Under the theme ?Towards 
Thought Leadership in Digital Transformation?, we are looking forward to
