The School of Business at Stevens Institute of Technology invites applications for multiple full time tenure-track Faculty position in Information Systems and Analytics at the Assistant or Associate Professor level with an expected start date of August 2017. 

Specifically, we are recruiting:

These positions are part of the School’s strategic plan of hiring three to five faculty members annually over the next few years. The positions are available immediately and applications will be accepted until the positions are filled.

Successful candidates will possess a PhD in Information Systems, Computer Science, Management Science, or other related discipline. The degree must be completed before August 2017. Experience in industry and/or government is a plus.

Faculty at the School of Business are active in research involving web mining, machine learning, social network analysis, collective intelligence, and process innovation. Candidates are expected to complement and enhance the research activities of the school with their own scholarly activities, advise Ph.D. students, and are expected to publish in top journals of their field. Successful candidates are expected to teach in our graduate and undergraduate programs in Information Systems and/or Business Intelligence & Analytics. The university offers a competitive teaching load and excellent support for faculty research.

The School of Business at Stevens Institute of Technology has a special focus on information systems, analytics, and finance, and encourages interdisciplinary research. The school is AACSB accredited and offers a PhD, two MBAs, seven Masters degrees, and undergraduate degrees in Business as well as Quantitative Finance. Stevens’ Business Intelligence & Analytics master’s degree is ranked among the top 10 in the United States and combines courses on database, statistics, optimization, data mining, social network analytics and Big Data. The program offers concentrations in marketing analytics, supply chain analytics, as well as data science. Stevens' Information Systems master’s degree is the largest program in the School of Business and consists of courses on emerging information technologies, business process innovation, IT strategy and IS architectures as well as concentrations in business intelligence and analytics, process and service innovation, and project management.
