"Health Care Analytics and Information Technology are changing the way we
deliver health care. Methodologies and technologies to analyze data
meaningfully to deliver health care has become one of the goals of today's
health care payers and providers. The objective of this issue is to present
case studies that showcase the use of technology and analytics to overcome
challenges faced by today’s payers, providers, and hospitals of health care
service."

Submissions are due *January 27, 2017* and should include:


   - Case study or critical incidents, written in past tense – cases can be
   decision or descriptive in nature. Full-length cases are typically 3,000 to
   10,000 words. Alternatively, authors can submit critical incidents that
   focus on a single decision point (limited to three (3) pages).
   - Authors should also include a teaching note with a case summary,
   intended use (undergraduate/graduate and course areas), learning outcomes,
   questions (please key these to the learning outcomes) and answers.
   Reviewers will consider each of these items, however, JCIT will not publish
   the answers.
   - Authors must obtain organizational approval for case studies that
   involve primary data collection. No approval is required for cases solely
   based on publicly available secondary sources.  Names and data can be
   disguised if needed.
