The 2017 IT Trends Study Comprehensive Report and both SIMposium 2016 slidedecks can now be downloaded from the IT Trends website at http://www.simnet.org/IT-Trends. Just click the banner at the top of home page; and if you are a SIM member and not already logged in click "Login" in "SIM members: Login to see free downloads of the most recent reports." The Report is free to SIM members and $995 for non-members. Non-members can download the "Main Stage" slidedeck at no charge (no login required).

An even better version of the report will appear in the March issue of MIS Quarterly Executive and there is already a preview in the December 2016 issue.

The IT Trends Study Team is already working on the 38th Anniversary IT Trends Study and plan to make it the best one ever. Porter Rice has started raising prize money for the SIM Chapter Challenge Contest and we hope to offer more and even larger prizes for the winning chapters<http://www.simnet.org/resource/group/470dc05e-ba88-42d9-bc81-80a5ba4abc8e/sim_articles/IT_Trends_Study_-_SIM_Connec.pdf>. These prizes are made possible by the companies that sponsor<http://c.ymcdn.com/sites/www.simnet.org/resource/group/470dc05e-ba88-42d9-bc81-80a5ba4abc8e/SIM_articles/SIM_Connect_2016.07.pdf> the study. So if you think your organization, or perhaps one of your clients, suppliers, or customers, may be interested in sponsoring next year's study, details are available on the study website<http://www.simnet.org/IT-Trends> (here too<http://c.ymcdn.com/sites/www.simnet.org/resource/group/470dc05e-ba88-42d9-bc81-80a5ba4abc8e/sponsorship/SIM_IT_Trends_Study_2017_-_S.pdf>) or contact Porter at price at simnet.org<mailto:price at simnet.org>.

Wishing you and yours a very healthy, happy, safe, and prosperous 2017!

Best wishes,
Leon
