*CAD/ABET Approves Proposed Revisions to Criteria for Review and Comment*

The Computing Area Delegation of ABET has now approved for review and
comment proposed changes to the general criteria for accrediting computing
programs and to the program criteria for computer science, *information
systems*, and *information technology*. A description of the motivation for
these changes and a side-by-side mark mark up of the current and proposed
versions of the criteria are now available on ABET's website:

will find a link to a survey where you can provide your feedback on the
proposed changes. The input of all members of the computing community is
