August 10-12, 2017, Boston, MA, USA

Paper submission deadline: March 1, 2017 https://amcis2017.aisnet.org/

Understanding the cognitive and affective processes in system use can lead
to innovative systems. This minitrack aims to provide a forum for research
on detection, integration, design, impact, visualization, privacy, and
usage of cognition and affect in information systems.

Call for Papers
The ability to discover affective and cognitive states has potential to
improve performance, change behavior, and create new possibilities for
information systems.
The cross-disciplinary nature of the IS discipline and its unique ability
to view technology in novel ways gives it strong potential to make big
waves in this domain. We encourage full paper and research-in-progress
submissions ranging from exploratory to confirmatory work. All methods of
research are encouraged, including design science, qualitative, empirical,
and theoretical research. Potential topics include, but are not limited to
the following:

* Affective or cognitive state detection

*         Classification or prediction

*         Visualization

* Barriers to effective user experience

* Social and political impact case studies

*         HCI for credibility assessment

*         Platforms, tools, and technologies
