Dear PhD students,

*Submit a Doctoral Consortium Paper to CAISE'2017 !*

If your paper is accepted and presented in CAISE'2017 DC, you will be
eligible for application to the "CAiSE PhD Award" in the future CAISE
conferences after your viva voce.

CAISE'2017 DC paper submission deadline is March 20, 2017.

The CAiSE'2017 Doctoral Consortium will be the 24th Doctoral Consortium
of a series held in conjunction with the CAiSE conference series. It is
intended to bring together PhD students working on foundations,
techniques, tools and applications of Information Systems Engineering
and provide them with an opportunity to present and discuss their
research to an audience of peers and senior faculty in a supportive
environment, as well as to participate in a number of plenary sessions
with Information Systems academics.

The goals of the CAISE'2017 Doctoral Consortium are:

- To provide fruitful feedback and advice to the selected PhD students
on their research project
- To provide the opportunity to meet experts from different backgrounds
working on topics related to the Information Systems Engineering field
- To interact with other PhD students and stimulate an exchange of ideas
and suggestions among participants
- To provide the opportunity to discuss concerns about research,
supervision, the job market, and other career-related issues

To be eligible for the Doctoral Consortium, the candidate must be a
current doctoral student within a recognized university. Ideally, the
candidate should have at least 6-12 months of work remaining before
expected completion (and at least 12 months of work already performed).

award will be offered to a PhD defended in the last two years. With the
award being co-sponsored by the CAiSE Steering Committee and Springer,
it will consist of a free full registration (5 days) to the next two
CAiSE conferences and will be accompanied by a book voucher for a free
selection worth EUR 500,- from Springer's printed book program. In
