For those of you worried about your future under various new regimes, have you considered New Zealand as a career destination? :)

I don't follow changes in New Zealand law, but when I applied 6 years ago, the combination of a PhD and an IT degree meant permanent residency.

Just sayin.

Dear Samir,

Thank you very much for your message. I know that scholars and academics from all over the world are signing a petition to hopefully reverse the executive order. As of now, the petition (available here
<https://notoimmigrationban.com/>) has been signed by 18 Nobel Laureates and more than 4,000 academics from different disciplines. I would also appreciate it if you (and other AIS community members) read the petition and sign and share it with colleagues if you agree with it.

Kind regards,
Nima
