Web portals are one of the most important components in the context of business integration. The International Journal of Web Portals (IJWP) is a high-quality refereed journal on portal software, engineering practices, and technologies. The journal serves as means for researchers, developers, and industry practitioners to publish their research and practical experiences in the technological, business, organizational, and social dimensions of Web portals development and applications. The journal also promotes communication and networking among portal, Web services, and SOA researchers and engineers at a time when new developments are taking place in portal technologies. Furthermore, it contributes to the development of new portal architectures and solutions in all fields of application.

Invitation

The Editors-in-Chief of the International Journal of Web Portals (IJWP) would like to invite you to consider submitting a manuscript for inclusion in this scholarly journal. The following describes the mission, coverage, and guidelines for submission to IJWP.

Mission

The mission of the International Journal of Web Portals (IJWP) is to be a primary forum for researchers and practitioners to disseminate the evolving theory and practice related to Web portals, providing comprehensive coverage and understanding in its technological, business, organizational, and social dimensions. IJWP expands knowledge on all types of portals, from personal and corporate to domain specific, including government, news, cultural, collaborative, and business oriented portals. The journal publishes original contributions concerned with all aspects of planning, development, implementation, management, and exploitation, including literature reviews and case studies.

Submission

Prospective authors should note that only original and previously unpublished articles will be considered. INTERESTED AUTHORS MUST CONSULT THE JOURNAL’S GUIDELINES FOR MANUSCRIPT SUBMISSIONS at http://www.igi-global.com/publish/contributor-resources/before-you-write/ PRIOR TO SUBMISSION. All article submissions will be forwarded to at least 3 members of the Editorial Review Board of the journal for double-blind, peer review. Final decision regarding acceptance/revision/rejection will be based on the reviews received from the reviewers. All submissions must be forwarded electronically.
