COMPUTER SCIENCE LECTURER
Master of Health Information Management Program Coordinator

The Department of Computer Science at the University of Regina invites 
applications for a 3-year term Lecturer position starting April 1, 2017.

The position will focus on the development and delivery of an online 
masters program in Health Information Management aimed at medical and 
information technology professionals in the health sector.  The successful 
candidate will be the primary instructor for the MHIM program.

Applicants must hold a Masters or PhD degree. Preference will be given to 
those applicants who: (i) are certified professionals of the Canadian 
Health Information Management Association (CHIMA); or (ii) possess 
relevant employment experience and are presently working toward CHIMA 
certification; or (iii) hold a PhD degree in Computer Science and are 
willing to become certified through the CHIMA program.

Applicants are asked to submit their curriculum vitae and a synopsis of 
their experience in the health information management field. Applications 
should also include the names and contact information of three references.
