CALL FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST to Chair PACIS 2019

Due by March 1, 2017

PACIS (the Pacific Asia Conference on Information Systems) is an annual
regional conference of the Association for Information Systems (AIS) and
governed by the AIS Region 3 Board. It is typically held between late June
and early July. The Site Advisory Committee (SAC) of the PACIS Executive
Committee solicits preliminary bids from individuals or teams interested in
chairing PACIS 2019 in Asia and the Pacific. In the past five years, cities
including Brisbane, Australia (2011), Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam (2012), Jeju
Island, Korea (2013), Chengdu, China (2014), Singapore (2015), and Chiayi,
Taiwan (2016) have chaired PACIS. In the future two years PACIS will be in
Langkawi, Malaysia (2017) and Yokohama, Japan (2018). We invite you to
submit an expression of interest in chairing PACIS 2019 by completing the

If you are interested in chairing PACIS in 2019, we ask that you first
complete the AIS Notice of Intent to Bid (NIB) form found at
http://aisnet.org/?PACISIntenttoBid no later than March 1, 2017. Completion
of this form will notify us of your interest in chairing the conference.
Once the form is received, the SAC will contact you and provide you more
information about the process.
