The paper submission system for the 2017 AIS Special Interest Group on Systems Analysis and Design (SIGSAND) annual symposium is now available at the 'Call For Papers' link on the business.uc.edu/sigsand2017 website. Submissions are due March 10.

The goal of the symposium is to promote and develop high quality research on all issues related to Systems Analysis & Design (SAND). This year, the symposium will be hosted by the Operations, Business Analytics & Information Systems department at the Lindner College of Business at the University of Cincinnati on May 19-20, 2017. Day 1 of the symposium will be co-located with the UC Center for Business Analytics spring event, Analytics Summit 2017 at the Sharonville Convention Center. Day 2 will be held on the campus of the University of Cincinnati. The symposium is intended to be a forum for scholars, practitioners, and doctoral students interested in SAND to exchange ideas and encourage collaboration. The developmental nature of the symposium encourages, but is not limited to, research in progress.

SIGSAND promotes the participation of PhD students at annual symposiums. This year's symposium will grant three US$400 travel awards to doctoral students who are lead authors of accepted papers to attend and present their work at the symposium. Instructions for submitting a manuscript and applying for the award are available at the 'PhD Student Awards' link on the website.
