The McCombs School of Business at University of Texas, Austin seeks applications for a visiting assistant professor position in the department of Information, Risk and Operations Management (IROM), commencing September 1, 2017.

Qualifications

Applicants should have completed or be nearing completion of a Ph.D. in Information Systems or related field and demonstrated potential for excellence in research and teaching.  The position is a one year position. The yearly teaching requirement is (the equivalent of) three to four semester courses, at the undergraduate level. The candidate should be flexible to teach database management, introductory MIS and introductory programming courses. The candidate is also expected to contribute to the research environment at the McCombs School of Business.
