Dear colleagues in AIS:

This is a cordial academic invitation for colleagues doing research or PhD
thesis on topics such as: IaaS, DCIM, Cloud Computing, DevOps, ITIL, IT
Operations, Computing Network Management, DCaaS, Virtualization Platforms,
Storage Systems (among other relevant topics) with implications either on
managerial or on technical issues to consider the submission of a full
(7-page) or short (4-page) paper for the first special session on Data
Center Systems to be held in the 2017 World Congress in Computer Science,
Computer Engineering & Applied Computing | CSCE'17, July 17-20, 2017, at
Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.

Our interest (co-organizers) is to raise in our IT community the relevance
and current need to include in our AIS worldwide research agenda the
scientific investigation and graduate level teaching on Data Center
Systems. Jointly, our interest is to start an academic community
interested on these topics and that cannot submit their findings by the
lack of these academic forums. Unfortunately, the Data Center conferences
are just organized by IT industry at present, and the normal fees are over
the 1,200-1,800 USD. This session has a normal academic fee (on 595 USD)
so it becomes in a great academic opportunity to share research and
practices experiences on topics related with Data Center Systems.

Deadline is April 15, 2017, and this session is endorsed by a JCR journal
(The Journal of Supercomputing) for publishing best 2 papers (extended
versions), so for PhD students, this is a great opportunity to compete for
these 2 places.

Thanks very much in advance,
Prof. Mora / Prof. Marx-Gómez
