The Department of Information Technology at the Central University of
Technology and the Department of Computer Science and Informatics at the
University of the Free State will host the 2017 Annual Conference of the
South African Institute of Computer Scientists and Information
Technologists (SAICSIT 2017) at the Black Mountain Leisure and Conference
Hotel
(http://www.blackmountainhotel.co.za/) nearby Thaba ’Nchu, South Africa
from 26 – 28 September 2017.

The Conference Organising Committee hereby solicits submissions in the
following categories: Full Research Papers; Masters & Doctoral Symposium
Posters; Panels, Tutorials and Workshops. All submissions should be in line
with the areas of interest of SAICSIT, which are: computer science,
information systems, information technology, software engineering and
computer engineering (as defined by the ACM, AIS and IEEE-CS). Accepted
papers will be published in the ACM digital library within its
International Conference Proceedings Series.

The closing date for submissions of full research papers is 19 June 2017.
Abstracts for the Masters and Doctoral Symposium are due 10 July 2017 and
proposals for panels, tutorials and workshops must be sent before 12 June
2017.  Please refer to the conference website
