[AISWorld] AMCIS 2017 Workshops and Tutorials Call for Proposals

We invite you to propose a workshop or tutorial at AMCIS 2017. Consistent
with the AMCIS 2017 theme of A Tradition of Innovation, proposals can be
directed toward any topic that may be of interest to conference attendees
or Boston-area Information Systems practitioners.

Workshops and tutorials are typically conducted as half-day or full-day
sessions.

IMPORTANT DATES:
* April 3, 2017: Deadline for proposal submissions
* April 21, 2017: Notification of acceptance

* Cutting edge IS technologies, methods, education programs, and concepts
* Grant writing in IS research
* Analysis of environmental or sustainability data for IS
* Cyber-human systems
* Smart energy, smart grid, and smart consumer solutions
* Big data research and analysis

* Ubiquitous computing
* Internet of things
* IS strategy
* Writing, editing, and reviewing for IS-related journals
* Theory building in IS research
* Diffusing IS research to practitioner audiences
* Active learning in the IS classroom
* Blended and online learning in IS education
* Information security and information security management
* Gamification of work, commerce, and education
* Enterprise architectures

SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS:
* Download the Workshop/Tutorial Proposal Form (http://amcis2017.aisnet.org/
wp-content/uploads/2016/10/AMCIS-2017-Workshops-and-Tutorials-Form.docx)
* Use the form to provide requested information describing your proposal
* No later than 11:59 pm April 3, 2017 (local time), submit the completed
form as an email attachment addressed to the co-chairs (vwilson at wpi.edu and
harry_zhu at uml.edu)
* Receipt of your proposal will be confirmed within 24 hours.
* Notification of accepted proposals: April 21, 2017
