Ohio University announces a nationwide search to recruit a Visiting Assistant Professor for the Management Information Systems (MIS) Department. The position seeks candidates that have recently obtained a PhD or are ABD with the ability to engage in a dynamic MIS teaching and research environment. This position will have a 3-courses/semester teaching load, and it is a 1-year appointment. The department anticipates hiring a tenure-track position in the next year, and this faculty member will have the opportunity to apply for that position.

Minimum Qualifications 
1. ABD or earned Ph.D. in MIS or related field
2. Evidence of teaching effectiveness and the potential to contribute to curriculum development in various information systems and related course areas
3. Ability to contribute to the department’s commitment to high quality research in relevant areas
4. Ability to contribute to the service mission of the department and college
