Greetings -

Do you want to attend AMCIS 2017 in Boston this August but somehow missed submission of a paper/panel/workshop? You still have time to be included in the program! As you may be aware, there is another way people are being encouraged to attend AMCIS this year - via the Professional Development Symposia. The PDS will allow individuals who do not already have a role in the AMCIS program to be able to participate by organizing a PDS and thus be listed in the program. It can be an open panel or other format, and any number of individuals may join a PDS session. About the only constraint is that the topic be of likely interest to the profession. (Participating in a PDS may allow some group members to receive employer funding by being in the program, by the way.)

More details for PDS are available at: https://amcis2017.aisnet.org/submissions/professional-development-symposia-pds/. The deadline for submissions is April 25.

Best regards,
Paul Witman and Chris Njunge
