We are in the last steps of our edited book but looking for more
contributions. Details are as follows:

Call for Chapters: Nature-Inspired Intelligent Techniques for Solving
Biomedical Engineering Problems

This book is focused on application of nature-inspired techniques
(Artificial Intelligence) in problems of Biomedical Engineering. In this
context, the book will include chapters from Biomedical Engineering
problems and provide recent research works on using nature-inspired
techniques for solving these problems. Briefly the subject area of the book
can be defined as the application of nature-inspired Artificial
Intelligence techniques in Biomedical Engineering by proving potential of
the Artificial Intelligence field. The chapters in the book will include
mostly use of nature-inspired techniques and reporting obtained results on
Biomedical problems solutions, comparisons with different approaches...etc.
In this context, used techniques may differ from swarm intelligence (i.e.
particle swarm optimization, artificial bee colony, ant colony
optimization) techniques, evolutionary (i.e. genetic algorithms, artificial
immune systems) algorithms, general nature-inspired techniques (i.e.
artificial neural networks) and even newly introduced hybrid models formed
by more than one techniques. It is also possible to said that the book will
be source for general chapters like reviews on recent literature, future
works, analysis of the subject area...etc. Eventually, a reference work on
Biomedical Engineering application potentials of nature-inspired techniques
(Artificial Intelligence) will be obtained, thanks to efforts from
international audience.

TOPICS:
All possible recommended topics are listed as follows:
1- General nature-inspired Artificial Intelligence techniques (Artificial
Neural Networks, Genetic Algorithms, Artificial Immunity...etc.) and their
usage in problems of Biomedical Engineering.
2- Nature-inspired, Artificial Intelligence optimization algorithms
(Particle Swarm Optimization, Ant Colony Optimization, Artificial Bee
Colony...etc.) and their usage within optimization problems of Biomedical
Engineering.
3- Swarm intelligence based, nature-inspired system applications in
Biomedical Engineering.
4- Knowledge-based, nature-inspired system applications in Biomedical
Engineering.
5- Intelligent problem solutions of Biomedical Engineering supported by
nature-inspired techniques.
6- Applications of intelligent hybrid systems formed by nature-inspired
approaches and other Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning /
discipline-specific approaches in Biomedical Engineering.
7- Discussions on the most recent literature of nature-inspired techniques
/ computing in solving Biomedical Engineering problems.
8- Discussions on future of nature-inspired computing in solving Biomedical
Engineering problems.
9- Introduction of newly developed nature-inspired techniques and their
applications.
10- Software-based, intelligent, nature-inspired solutions for Biomedical
Engineering.
11- Hardware-based, intelligent, nature-inspired solutions for Biomedical
Engineering.
12- Views on interaction of nature-inspired techniques with alternative
ones by some other disciplines in order to solve Biomedical Engineering
problems.
13- Comparison of different nature-inspired techniques by using problems
from Biomedical Engineering.
