The Milgard School of Business at the University of Washington Tacoma invites applications for a full-time non-tenure-track lecturer / senior lecturer position to teach undergraduate and graduate courses (new Master of Science in Business Analytics Program in the UW System) in information systems and business analytics. This position has a nine-month service period and is effective September 16, 2017. Candidates must have a Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Management Information Systems/Technology, Operations Management, Management Science, Decision Science or Industrial Engineering domains or a related field. A doctoral degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in MIS, OM, MS, DS, IE and practical real world experience is preferred but not a requirement.

Candidates must be able to teach a variety of information systems and business analytics courses (such as introduction to information systems/technology, IT project management, business analytics, social media analytics, statistics, data/text mining, database management, business process and workflow analysis, big data management) at the undergraduate and graduate levels, and be willing to provide service to the university, the business school and the information systems/business analytics profession.
