[AISWorld] CFP: 11th annual ILAIS (Israel Association for Information Systems) conference

The 11th annual ILAIS (Israel Association for Information Systems) will be
held on Monday July 10, 2017 at Bar-Ilan University, Israel. The conference
this year will incorporate three events: 

 

Main Conference Event 

The main conference features 9 tracks: 

(1) Data Science and Business Analytics 

Depending on volume and quality, presentations in this track may be moved to
the WITS event feeder described below. 

(2) Health IT 

(3) Economics of IS 

(4) Social Media 

(5) Internet of Things 

(6) Business Cybersecurity 

(7) IS Education 

(8) IS Industry 

(9) General topics related to IS 

 

The organizers invite faculty members, research students, and industry
researchers in the IS field to submit a 2-page abstract to one of these
tracks. Submissions to this event may reflect either completed research or
work in progress. 

 

Doctoral Consortium 

The consortium invites near-graduation (4th and 5th year only) PhD students
to present their doctoral dissertation to their peers from other
universities, to academic researchers, and to industry audience. Interested
students are invited to submit a 2-page abstract to this event. Papers will
be accepted either as full presentations or as posters. 

 

Workshop on Information Technology Systems (WITS) Feeder Event 

We are delighted to host this international WITS feeder event! The WITS
event aims at gathering innovative and breakthrough research in Data Science
methodology for the IS field. A separate call for papers will be sent for
this event. 

 

Submission Guidelines 

Submissions to all events should be no longer than two pages (1.5-spaced,
font size 12pt), and should be written in English. An extended abstract
should be submitted in PDF format by May 1, 2017, through our EasyChair
submission page: https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=ilais2017.
Abstracts are not blinded. Please indicate below the title the name of the
event (main, doctoral consortium, WITS) you are submitting to. When
submitting to the main event, please indicate in addition the desired track.
Submissions to the doctoral consortium should include the student's
affiliation, supervisor, and year in the program. If you do not want your
abstract to be included in the proceedings, please indicate it on your
submission.

Notification to authors: June 1, 2017

The Israel Association for Information Systems (ILAIS) was founded in 2005
as the Israeli chapter of the Association for Information Systems (AIS). The
goal of ILAIS is to promote the exchange of ideas, experiences and knowledge
among IS scholars and professionals engaged in IS development, management
and use.
