[AISWorld] Recruitment of a Research Associate and a Research Fellow in Smart Manufacturing / Enterprise Information Systems

The Business Informatics (formerly Service Systems) Research Group at the
Alliance Manchester Business School is seeking to recruit two post-doctoral
researchers to work on the new EC H2020-funded project DIGICOR
(www.digicor-project.eu) in collaboration with Airbus, Comau, SingularLogic
and other innovative European companies and research institutions. The
project is funded for 3 years starting from 1st October 2016.  One position
will be at a post-doctoral research associate level (Grade 6), the second
position is at the level of a Research Fellow (Grade 7).

We are looking for enthusiastic researchers to join our growing team and
work independently under the general supervision of Professor Nikolay
Mehandjiev, contributing to research projects and production of research
outputs. The main project on which the recruits will work is DIGICOR, where
we are responsible for the development of a new generation of supplier
contracting and coordination mechanisms and of the corresponding marketplace
demonstrator and semantic descriptors.

The researchers will work on developing the conceptual and technical design
of our contributions and will participate in all related project activities,
including requirements, validation and dissemination. Producing high-quality
research outputs including journal papers whilst discharging our
responsibilities on the project will be the main focus of both positions,
although the senior appointment is expected to lead on the publishing whilst
the junior-level appointment is expected to focus on the technical aspects.

The posts are currently funded from 1st May 2017 till 30th Sept. 2019.
