The Muma College of Business at the University of South Florida (USF) is searching for an outstanding post-doctoral scholar to work with faculty on research projects and publications in the area of information systems, analytics and online experiments.

The post-doctoral scholar will need to be able to design and execute carefully controlled online experiments such as Amazon’s Mechanical Turk experiments to test the effectiveness of a new digital platform. The broad research domain is in learning and collaboration technologies. The candidate will have to be comfortable with advanced statistical analysis techniques both as applied to large-scale secondary datasets as well as to analyzing the results of experiments.

Candidates must have a PhD in Information Systems, Psychology, Management, or a related discipline. Candidates who are expected to complete their terminal degree by July 31, 2017 are also encouraged to apply. The applicant must have a publication record or qualifications that are commensurate with classification as a “scholarly academic” according to current AACSB standards.

The post-doctoral scholar will be part of the Information Systems & Decision Sciences department at the Muma College of Business. The department faculty engage in fundamental and applied research in management and organization, information systems and business analytics and publish in the leading journals in the management & organization, information systems, business analytics and related areas.
