This is the First call for papers for the to be hosted by JAMK University of Applied Sciences, Jyväskylä, Finland on 22-23 March 2018.

This call is open until 31st August 2017.
The global approach to tourism has changed considerably over the past decades - in part due to low-cost travel and also due to an increased concern about the sustainability of tourism from both cultural and environmental perspectives. Despite some advances being made in the area, topics related to tourism research remain pertinent and are gaining momentum in a changing society
ICTR intends to be established in the cutting edge of tourism research and we welcome everyone researching in this area to present their work to the scientific community.
Topics may include but are not limited to:


  *   Sustainable tourism
  *   Specialist tourism (health, religious etc.)
  *   e-Tourism
  *   Eco-Tourism
  *   Public private partnerships in tourism management
  *   IT in tourism
  *   Emerging markets and new destinations.
  *   Education for tourism and hospitality
  *   Marketing in tourism and hospitality
  *   Innovation and entrepreneurship in tourism


This conference will create an opportunity for academics, practitioners and consultants researching tourism in various social science domains to share their work. Academic research, case studies and work-in-progress/posters are welcomed approaches. PhD Research, proposals for roundtable discussions, non-academic contributions and product demonstrations based on the main themes are also invited.
Papers accepted for the conference will be published in the conference proceedings, subject to author registration and payment. The Proceedings have an ISSN, ISBN and will be submitted for indexing in the Thompson Web of Science and Scopus and will be listed in the EBSCO database.
