1 - 4 p.m. The objective of this workshop is to provide faculty
participants with a forum to learn about, discuss and identify strategies
and resources for data analytics and “big data” in the curriculum at their
university. The workshop will launch with discourse from business analytics
curriculum panelists who have presented numerous Association to Advance
Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB)-sponsored workshops worldwide on
analytics curriculum development. Their insight will provide valuable and
practical takeaway ideas and solutions for the participants’ own analytics
curriculum development. Perspectives from the panel, academics, and
industry representatives will prove to be very valuable for faculty as they
develop and refine the incorporation of analytics and data management
(databases, big data, and supporting platforms) into their curriculum. The
discussion and exchange will focus on devising curriculum strategies,
building content, and navigating the challenges analytic curriculum
integration presents. The dialogue will include finding and sharing
available resources for faculty and student use.

This workshop is intended for faculty who are considering the development
of a data/business analytics curriculum or courses, as well as faculty
teaching in the areas of Business Intelligence, Data, Statistics, and
Business Analytics. Workshop highlights/agenda include:
