recognizes and supports up-and-coming scholars in the field of information
and communication technologies.  Selected participants will be invited to
present their research at PTC's 40th anniversary conference in Honolulu,
Hawaii, January 21-24-2018

*Participant Benefits:*

PTC's YSP offers promising scholars the opportunity to:

   - Present their research in a high-visibility academic and industry
   forum
   - Engage and get feedback from esteemed academics in the field of
   telecommunications
   - Participate in PTC '18 activities
   - Gain exposure to current industry issues and trends
   - Meet PTC'18 attendees to share ideas, gain insights, and identify
   practical research applications
   - Network with industry professionals, members of international
   organizations and NGOs, government officials and academics from over 75
   countries

*Eligibility: *

The PTC Young Scholar Program is open to actively enrolled Ph.D. students
and to individuals holding post-doctoral positions.  Applicants should be
35 years old or under at the time of the application deadline.  Individuals
from emerging economies are encouraged to apply.
