[AISWorld] Call for papers ENTER 2018 - Jönköping, Sweden

The call for papers for ENTER 2018 taking place in Jönköping, Sweden is out. Please find the call attached.

Organized by the International Federation for Information Technology and Travel & Tourism (IFITT), the ENTER conference offers a worldwide and unique forum for attendees from academia, industry, government, and other organizations.

With a theme Digital tourism: engagement, content, and networks the ENTER 2018 conference will focus on exploring emergent and cutting-edge ICT concepts, applications, managerial approaches and business models that reflect the progressive transformation in travel, tourism and hospitality, with a special focus on developing digital strategies that capitalise on content, big data, engagement, and networks.

The conference brings together the research community with the industry and it is organized in three streams, namely industry, destinations and research tracks. The conference also features six to eight world-class keynote speakers.

Submission closes: August 25, 2017
Notification of acceptance/rejection/revision: October 10, 2017
Deadline to submit revised version: October 20, 2017
Final acceptance: October 27, 2017
End of Early Bird registration: November 10, 2017
Registration deadline to be published: November 11, 2017
Conference: January 24 - 26, 2018

Fast Track Journal of Information Technology and Tourism (JITT)

Best papers' authors will be invited to submit an extended version of their article to Journal of Information Technology and Tourism (Springer). These articles will be reviewed under a special fast track in order to assure a timely publication.

NEW! Speed Dating/Cross-over Sessions

During ENTER2018 there will be the opportunity for academics for close interaction with industry representatives. This is supported by short-presentations of a more applied character and personal meetings (“speed dating”) between individual researchers and industry delegates. Thus, researchers of proposed papers chosen by a jury of industry delegates will be contacted in good time before the conference to check availability for a short-industry speech or speed dating.
