[AISWorld] Opening for Junior-Professorship in Information Security and Compliance

The Faculty of Economic Sciences at the Georg-August-University Goettingen, Germany, invites applicants for a Junior-Professorship in Information Security and Compliance (salary W1) to begin on October 1, 2017.

Applicants will be expected to have expertise from an information systems perspective in either IT-risk management, IT-governance or IT-compliance.
Successful applicants will have an excellent Ph.D. and are able to publish results in high ranking academic journals.
He or she will teach courses in Bachelor (BSc.) and Master (MSc.) of Information Systems and Business Administration as well as in the PhD programs of the faculty and the Goettingen Graduate School of Social Sciences.
Applicants should be willing to engage in faculty-spanning research collaborations. It is further expected that applicants will participate in the interdisciplinary focus area “data science”.

Preconditions for appointment are laid down in § 30 of the Higher Education Law of Lower Saxony of 26.02.2007 (Official Law Gazette of Lower Saxony, Nds. GVBl. 5/ 2007 p. 69).
As a Public Law Foundation, the University of Goettingen holds the right of appointment. Further details will be explained on inquiry.
