The Information Systems and Operations Management (ISOM) Department in the
College of Business, University of Texas at Arlington invites applications
for a full-time tenure-track position in Information Systems with the rank
of Assistant Professor.

Applicants must possess a doctorate in Information Systems or a related
field from an AACSB accredited (or equivalent) university by the date of
appointment. Applicants must have the potential for both high quality
academic research and high quality teaching, and be willing to support the
department and its initiatives. Preference will be given to candidates
with teaching and/or research interests in business analytics.

The Information Systems (IS) area is part of the ISOM Department, which
offers courses in Information Systems, Operations Management, and Business
Statistics in the College¹s undergraduate, MBA, Executive MBA, MSIS, MS
Business Analytics, and Ph.D. programs. The IS faculty has diverse
research interests and is very active in conducting high impact research
and publishing in premier research journals.    More information about the

The College of Business, which has been accredited by the AACSB since
1969, employs about 180 full time faculty members and serves about 4,500
undergraduate students and 1,500 graduate students.  Both its MBA and EMBA
