Doctoral Fellows and Doctoral Consortium - Call for Participants

The Hawaii International Conference on System Sciences (HICSS) invites doctoral students (irrespective of stage in the program – please see below for suggested disciplines) to apply to become a HICSS Doctoral Fellow and participate in the HICSS Doctoral Consortium to be held on January 2, 2018.

The Doctoral Consortium, co-created by the Association for Information Systems and HICSS, intends to help Doctoral Fellows advance one paper closer to journal publication and groom them to become leaders within the HICSS family and the academic field as a whole.

* Jay Nunamaker, University of Arizona
* Stacie Petter, Baylor University
* Hans Jochen Scholl, University of Washington
* Jason Thatcher, Clemson University
* Christian Wagner, City University of Hong Kong

To apply, students are required to submit a CV and a 5-page summary of a completed research project or a work in progress in the areas that are covered by the conference, such as systems science, information systems, management, psychology, organizational behavior, and computer science. The summary should begin with the research question and why it is important. It should also include theory, methods, and results where applicable.
