*Assistant or Associate Professor of Information Systems and Technology
Management *

The George Washington University School of Business (GWSB) invites
applications for a full time tenure-track faculty position in the
Department of Information Systems and Technology Management (ISTM)
beginning August 2018.  This position will be hired at either the Assistant
or Associate Professor rank, depending upon the credentials of the
candidate.


Responsibilities include a balanced emphasis on research and teaching.
Research is expected to be published in top journals in the field. Teaching
would be in our AACSB-accredited undergraduate, Master of Science in
Information Systems Technology and MBA programs. Area of research emphasis
is open. Teaching interest and experience in the following topics is a
plus: enterprise application development, data warehousing, information
security, and business intelligence, human-computer interaction, in
addition to core Information System subjects.

The George Washington University is situated in the heart of Washington,
DC, just blocks from the White House.  The School of Business enrolls about
1,500 undergraduate and 1,600 graduate students and has a regular full-time
faculty numbering approximately 125.  The ISTM Department offers courses at
both the undergraduate and graduate levels.



*Minimum Qualifications:*

Applicants must have a doctoral degree in MIS or a closely related area
from a research university accredited by a US or internationally recognized
accrediting organization. Research productivity consistent with experience
level will be valued highly in the evaluation. Teaching experience and
performance will also be valued highly. Experience with IT management
and/or IT consulting is also valuable.
