The Department of Decision and Information Sciences (DISC) in C. T. Bauer College of Business at the University of Houston seeks qualified applicants for one or more tenure-track faculty positions in Business Analytics as this domain relates to the Management Information Systems (MIS) ) discipline. Ideal applicants will have strong modeling, quantitative, and data management skills. Applicants must have a Ph.D. in MIS, or a closely related discipline. The start date for a hired applicant will be Fall 2018. This search is open to rank, however, the preferred starting ranks are at the Assistant and Associate Professor levels. A hired applicant will have to (a) publish in top-tier and highly respected journals, (b) contribute to the mentoring and development of Ph.D. students and (c) teach graduate and undergraduate courses.  The College offers generous research support and a competitive annual teaching load.
