The School of Business Administration at Oakland University is inviting
applications for an Assistant/Associate Professor position to teach
introductory and advanced undergraduate and graduate level courses in
Business Analytics and Management Information Systems. The faculty member
would also be expected to develop and maintain a high quality of research
and service activities appropriate to the position beginning August 15,
2018. Candidates with a technical background and can teach technical MIS
courses as well as courses related to business intelligence, and big data
analytics are especially encouraged to apply. Evidence of successful
interactions with the business community is also desirable. Minimum
qualifications include a Ph.D in Management Information Systems from an
accredited AACSB International or equivalent accredited institution.
Applicants with ABD status will also be considered if they will complete
degree requirements by August 15, 2018.

The department of Decision and Information Sciences offers a B.S. in
Management Information Systems, a Master of Science in Information
Technology Management (MSITM) with a concentration in Business Analytics or
Information Security Management, and a Combined Bachelor and Master Degree
