The Beedie School of Business at Simon Fraser University in Metro Vancouver, British Columbia seeks outstanding candidates for one tenure-track position in Management Information Systems, beginning Fall 2018 (Rank Assistant Professor).

The successful candidate will possess a passion for high-quality research, demonstrated teaching excellence at the undergraduate level, the potential to teach at the graduate and executive levels, and leadership abilities. Candidates working in all areas of Information Systems are encouraged to apply. Research interests consistent with Beedie’s strategic priorities of innovation, socially responsible and sustainable business, and issues related to global business will be valued. Candidates with industry experience, who seek to engage with communities of practice, and make an impact through their research will be a good fit with the School’s research culture. A publication record or pipeline in top and leading IS journals or a related field is an asset. Ph.D. is required by August 2018.

The Beedie School of Business is recognized as a top ranked research school, is accredited by both AACSB and EQUIS, and is signatory to Principles for Responsible Management Education. We have programs at the Undergraduate, Masters, Ph.D. and Executive levels, including Canada’s first Executive MBA program.
