[AISWorld] Call for registration: 2017 iDASH Genome Privacy and Security Workshop

*The growth of genome data and computational requirements overwhelm the
capacity of servers. Many institutions and NIH are considering the cloud
computing service as a cost-effective alternative to scale up research.
Privacy and security are the major concerns when deploying cloud-based data
analysis tools. In the past few years, secure computation methods have
witnessed significant performance improvement but it is still not clear if
they are applicable to biomedical challenges involving big data. The goal
of this challenge is to evaluate the performance of state-of-the-arts
methods that ensures rigorous data confidentiality during data analysis in
a cloud environment.*

*iDASH Workshop (10/14/2017) Information:*

Address: Harris Corporation Engineering Center, University of Central
Florida, Orlando, FL 32816

The iDASH Workshop will be hosted in Harris Corporation Engineering Center
(HEC), University of Central Florida. Registration and Poster will be at
HEC Atrium. The workshop will be at HEC 101.

*Hotel Information:*

There are two hotels recommended near UCF:

1. DoubleTree by Hilton Orlando East - UCF Area, 12125 High Tech Ave,
Orlando, FL 32817

The hotel is 1 mile away from the HEC building, with a 20 minutes walking
distance. A group rate was setup for IDASH workshop for two nights
(10/13-15).

This hotel is 1.4 miles away from the HEC building, with a 30 minutes
walking distance. This hotel has a relatively cheaper rate.

*Parking Information: *

The parking on 10/14/2017 for the workshop will be at *Parking Garage B* and
 *Libra Garage* on UCF campus. Note that October 14th will be a game day
(UCF vs East Carolina). Please only park in these two garages (spaces that
are not labeled with disable or reserved signs). Other parking garages or
lots at UCF may require a parking permit on that day.
