Drake University, a private comprehensive university dedicated to quality teaching, seeks applications for a full-time tenure-track position as Assistant Professor of Information Systems and Business Analytics.  Essential functions include teaching at the graduate and undergraduate level, conducting research leading to publication in peer-reviewed journals and other appropriate outlets, and participating in college and university service activities.

Primary teaching duties would include core graduate courses in data management, data visualization, data mining, or other data analytics topics.  Secondary teaching responsibilities would include information systems courses in programming or network management.   Will be expected to primarily teach online graduate data analytics courses to implement the launch of a Masters in Data Analytics Leadership program, and other traditional undergraduate courses in the data analytics and information systems programs as necessary.

A PhD in business analytics, data analytics, information systems, or a related field at time of appointment is preferred, but ABD candidates close to completion will be considered.  All candidates must provide evidence of effective teaching and an active research program.
