[AISWorld] Lecturer Position in Hospitality and Tourism Management

The School of Management at California Lutheran University is launching a new degree program in Global Hospitality and Tourism Management, and is seeking an enthusiastic individual dedicated to working with undergraduate students and nurturing their future careers in the industry. The School offers a broad collection of majors and minors, and has created this program to meet the needs of its diverse student population and of its industry partners - local, national, and global. The major has been designed for academic rigor and a breadth of educational experiences, including substantial technology integration, to enable students to be successful in their chosen career.

The successful candidate will teach primarily undergraduate courses in global hospitality and tourism management, as well as other courses within the candidate's area of expertise. Additional responsibilities will include ongoing curriculum review/development, advising students, participating in university committees, and serving as a liaison with industry. The candidate will mainly teach, mentor, and advise a diverse population of traditional-age students at our main Thousand Oaks campus, but could also teach some graduate courses for the School of Management at other campuses.

A completed PhD in Hospitality Management or relevant discipline is preferred, but candidates with a Master's Degree plus extensive industry experience will be considered. Evidence of quality teaching and mentoring, and experience working with a diverse student population, are vital qualifications.
