The Department of Information Systems, Decision Sciences and Statistics
(IDS) at ESSEC Business School invites applications for full-time faculty
positions in Information Systems at different levels
(Assistant/Associate/Full Professor) for September 2018. The positions will
be based in our campus near Paris (France).

ESSEC is a leading European business school with campuses in France and
Singapore. The school offers graduate and undergraduate level training in
business administration (Master in Management, Executive MBA, Specialized
Masters, PhD, Global BBA). The Master in Management program is ranked 5th
in the world in the Financial Times ranking, and the Global BBA program is
ranked first amongst undergraduate business programs in France. For more

ESSEC is ranked 5th in Europe for publications in the AIS basket of 8 for
the 2014-16 period. Faculty in the IS group (with 9 full-time faculty)
conduct qualitative, quantitative, and design-oriented research on a
variety of topics, including:

   - Digital ecosystems
   - E-Government
   - ERP implementation
   - Software development
   - Information quality and security
   - Knowledge management
   - Online marketing


Candidates should have a PhD (or equivalent) in Information Systems or a
related area, and show evidence of excellence both in research
(publications in leading IS journals) and in teaching. Rank of appointments
(Assistant/Associate/Full Professor) is open and salary will be
commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Candidates will be able to teach courses in several of the following areas:

   - Management of Information Systems
   - eBusiness
   - Programming concepts
   - Spreadsheet modeling
