For more than five decades, the College of Business Administration at Sacramento State has consistently achieved its fundamental goal - to cultivate excellence in its graduates and to develop business leaders possessing not only top management skills, but also a broad understanding of their responsibilities to business and their community.

The College of Business Administration has maintained its accreditation under the stringent standards of the AACSB since 1963. In the course of our history, we have graduated nearly 40,000 undergraduate and graduate students. We believe about 24,000 alumni remain in the Sacramento region, fueling the success of our vibrant economy.

Essential Duties
*Teach graduate and undergraduate courses in Management Information Systems and curriculum development (e.g., develop new courses, change existing courses) in the discipline. Teaching assignments may include on-line classes and hybrid schedules.
*Engage continuously in scholarly activities with an emphasis on publication of peer- reviewed journal articles.
*Provide on-going institutional and community service.
*Student advising.
*Supervise student research done by graduates and undergraduates.

Required Qualifications
*Doctorate in Management Information Systems, or equivalent, from a University that has accreditation by AACSB International for its business school.
*ABD candidates will be considered. If ABD, candidates will be required to complete the degree by June 2019.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience:
*A record of, or potential for, developing relationships with the business community and engaging in projects and/or consulting.
*A record of, or potential for, working with a diverse student population.
*Record of, or potential for, research and peer review publications.
*Ability to teach online courses.
*Ability to develop graduate and undergraduate research projects/lead graduate and undergraduate teams.
*Ability to teach large classes.
Special Knowledge and Abilities:
*Demonstrated record of teaching, research, and industry experience in Management Information Systems.
*Candidates with teaching and research interests in the following areas: ERP with SAP, Business Process Modeling or R programming.
