The Department of Decision Sciences and Management at Tennessee Technological University invites applications for one full-time tenure track Assistant or Associate Professor position in the area of Business Analytics/Operations Research/Management Science, beginning August 1, 2018. Responsibilities include teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels, scholarly activity consistent with AACSB standards, and service to the
department, university, and profession.

Minimum qualifcations include 1) a doctoral degree in Business
Analytics/Operations Research/Management Science or a related feld from an AACSB-accredited institution (ABDs nearing completion will be considered), 2) teaching/research focus on Business Analytics, 3) excellence in teaching and communication skills, and 4) demonstrated ability to publish research in peer-reviewed journals. Preferred qualifications include 1) knowledge of optimization software (e.g., R, Python, RapidMiner, SAS) and
prescriptive analytic techniques, and 2) ability to teach online and/or hybrid courses.

Our department is home to approximately 200 majors. We offer
concentrations in Business Intelligence & Analytics, Business & Information Technology, Production & Operations Management, General Management, and Human Resource Management. We also provide graduate courses to support the College of Business' MBA Program. More information about our
