The Raymond A. Mason School of Business at the College of William and Mary is seeking to fill a Business Analytics teaching position in the Operations Management and Information Systems (OMIS) area. This is a non-tenured, fixed term, renewable contract position. Candidates should have a terminal degree in information systems, operations management, industrial engineering, operations research, business analytics, or related fields. The position begins in August 2018 and is contingent on funding.


The successful candidate should be willing and able to teach courses in operations management, information systems, information technology, computer science, statistics, and business analytics. The OMIS area offers a Business Analytics major in the BBA program, is active in multiple MBA programs, and has a Master’s program in Business Analytics.  Responsibilities of this position are teaching and service.  This position is not research focused.  Prior teaching experience is required and candidates with a proven record of excellent teaching will be given preference in the selection

process.  Industry experience in operations management and/or business analytics, while not required, is desirable.  An earned doctoral degree in information systems, information technology, operations management, industrial engineering, operations research, business analytics, or related fields is desirable.


Salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications.
