The Ohio University College of Business announces a nationwide search to recruit a Tenure-Track Assistant Professor of Management Information Systems (MIS). The position seeks candidates that have obtained a PhD or are ABD with the ability to engage in a dynamic Information Systems and Analytics teaching and research environment. This position will have a 4-courses/year load for the first two years and 5-courses/year after that.

Founded in Athens in 1804, Ohio University is the oldest university in what was once the Northwest Territory. The main campus is located amidst scenic state and national parks in a family-friendly and culturally rich community 75 miles southeast of Columbus. Minimum Qualifications
1. ABD or earned Ph.D. in Information Systems or related field
2. Evidence of teaching effectiveness and the potential to contribute to curriculum development in Information Systems areas
3. Ability to contribute to the department’s commitment to high quality research in relevant areas
4. Ability to contribute to the service mission of the department and college

Preferred Qualifications
1.  Evidence of ability to teach in Systems Development areas
